Dear Colleague,

Are you responsible for visitor services at your museum?

If so, I want you to know about a one-day workshop co-hosted by the
Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) and the St. Louis Science
Center for museum professionals who are responsible for facilities and
visitor services.

You shouldn't miss this opportunity to work and problem-solve with
colleagues, people with disabilities, and accessibility professionals.

Place is the St. Louis Science Center, St. Louis, MO. Date is September 14,
2001.

Teams of two and three people are encouraged to attend this interactive
workshop. Cost is $ 35 for the first person and $ 25 each for up to two
additional people. The fee includes parking, lunch, and an
information-packed binder.

To register or to find out more about the workshop, contact Elana Yellen at
the St. Louis Science Center (314/289-4416; [log in to unmask]).

This workshop is supported in part by the National Science Foundation. To
learn more about the Accessible Practices Project and other workshops
planned for 2001 and 2002, go to the ASTC web site at www.astc.org.

I hope to see you at St. Louis Science Center on September 14!

Best,
Sally
