I agree with everything that's been said and add to it...

DO NOT MISS the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.  A full day and well worth it!
Bring plenty of sunscreen.  There's also an interesting air/space museum if
you like that sort of thing.

If you can get tickets to a production, any production, at the Gaslight
Theater in Tucson, definitely go.  It's hilarious. Check it out on the Web
first, since tickets are typically sold out months in advance.

Canyon de Chelly in N. Arizona is great, I hear, but I've never been.

I go to visit my mother in Tucson each year on my kids' spring break.  I'm
still finding neat things to do there.
