George Washington University in Washington, DC, has a whole set of
museum/anthro degree combinations. Myself, I'm in a Museum Studies MA
program with a concentration in Anthropology. Or, you could try the MA in
Anthropology with a concentration in Museum Studies. If collections in
general is more your thing, there's a Collections Management concentration.
There is also an MA in Museum Education, but I don't know if there is an
opportunity for a connection with anthro there.

GWU
Museum Studies Dept: 202-994-7030
Anthro Dept: 202-994-6075
Central Operator/Information: 202-994-1000

I know there's office staff around in both departments but I'm not sure
which faculty members might be available to speak with you. At the very
least you could request program curricula and a graduate course catalog.

If you'd like more personal feedback on the program, send me your email and
I'll write off-list. Short answer: I'm very happy with it. The required
internship component of the program gets a lot of us in to various
Smithsonian edifices, like Natural History where the anthro collections
are, and the Museum Support Center, the SI offsite storage facility.
