DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR • PART-TIME • NAWCC (Columbia, PA)
•	The National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) seeks a person to assist the Executive Director in planning and coordinating development activities for our 501(c)(3) organization. The association operates the National Watch and Clock Museum, a library and research center, offers educational programs, serves both the public and over 14,000 members.
•	Manage the day-to-day development activities

Primary Responsibilities
•	Plans and aids in cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of current donors. Conceives new methods and improves existing programs for donor cultivation, donor stewardship and recognition. 
•	Coordinates the "Partners in Time" annual fund appeal and follow-up process.
•	Assists in development and implementation of planned giving program.
•	Coordinates the implementation of the "For All Time" 75th anniversary endowment and capital campaign.
•	Manages annual multi-state charitable registration process.

Job Tasks
•	Identifies donor prospects 
•	Provides in-depth research on prospects and donors
•	Prepares reports and proposals, prepares mailings, coordinates meetings and agendas 
•	Updates donor, prospect and wealth information in donor database 
•	Writes a variety of fund development communications 
•	Works with other staff on donor cultivation and special events

Development Coordinator Criteria
•	Self-motivated
•	Ability to work without supervision
•	Ability to work under deadlines
•	Attention to details
•	Good research skills
•	Experienced with personal computers and software
•	Excellent record keeping skills
•	Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with staff, members and volunteers
•	Strong writing skills (grammar, clear sentence structure, etc.)
•	Knowledge of development/fund raising 
•	Associates degree with preference for further education
•	Related experience and/or training
