Since Mr. Fellows is one of the authors of the book he is touting, I'd
construe this message as an advertisement.

Museum-L doesn't seem an appropriate place for ads to me... a waste of many
people's time in what is intended to be a professional venue. No matter how
relevant the topic, this isn't the place to self-promote a book one is
selling. Recommendations, yes. Advertising, no.

(my .02 worth... others, of course, will disagree)
