Hi.

In my "free" time I am involved in another small museum that is considering
a move to a new location within the same community. The politics in this
community are thick and several influential persons have ideas for the
"perfect location." As the battle lines are being drawn I am looking for
literature (and advice) that addresses the issue of placing a museum within
a community. Is the freeway area always the best solution? How about the
local park where families gather that is also near other school travel
locations? An old, government building being cleared? And so on.

Suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks. Off-list responses are welcome as well.

p.s. Is it spring anywhere out there?
