Hello all!

Does anyone know of any connoisseurship workshops or courses
offered to non-graduate students besides the Winterthur January
course? (it's a bit late to get into that one this year)

What I really want to learn is how to distinguish styles of objects and their
place of origin by looking at the object itself. How, for example, does one
tell the difference between a chair made in Boston in the 18th century vs.
one made in Philadelphia during the same time period?

Any help would be, of course, much appreciated.

Chris.
