I agree with Osman.  I feel you should also contact the major
international organizations in this field such as: UNESCO and ICOMOS
(The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
and The International Committee On Monuments and Sites) both
organizations have Web Sites and are headquartered in Paris.

On a personal note, when I was advising the new National Museum of El
Salvador in the areas of museum planning and development - the person I
worked with had just obtained her Master's in Historic Preservation from
Cornell.  I believe that is a very good school in this field.
