how about the age old government dilemma. Congress gives you XX amount of
dollars. It is for project A. Your boss wants you to spend 500.00 on buying
item B which will be used on project C. Then your boss goes out of town. You
are suppossed to only spend the Congressional $ on project A and you are
supposed to compete the bid through the GSA schedule and anything over 500.00
must be signed off on by your boss and her supervisor (who has nothing to do
with project C). You are only an intern, you can't sign for anything. Your
boss is out of town and her supervisor wants a memo of justification for the
purchase before he signs. By the way, it needs to be done by 5:00pm. What do
you do?
