[This notice has been posted on several discussion lists. Kindly excuse the
inevitable duplication of messages in your mailbox.]

To MUSEUM-L readers:

The Committee on Intellectual Property (CIP) of the College Art
Association, in preparation for a planned Question and Answer guide to
copyright issues that arise when using images for scholarly and academic
purposes, solicits questions from the readers of MUSEUM-L.
These questions should correspond to real-world issues; they should
describe problems that have arisen in consequence of your own publishing,
teaching and research uses and needs.

In addition, any suggestions or recommendations you may have about how to
create such a guide, including references to such related guides that may
already exist, will be greatly appreciated.

Please send these questions and suggestions to me at the address below. I
would be grateful if you could begin each subject line of each e-mail
submitted with the following: "CIPQA:" (without the quotes). This will aid
filtering the questions into their own directory.
Many thanks for your cooperation.
