   I would think by now you know: of course the Director is correct in
   his instincts.  Unerring in fact.  My experience has been to "pick
   your fights."  Though this sounds more like a respectful disagreement,
   what's the real downside?  So, you'll get 100 irrelevant resumes to
   which you have to reply with nice notes.  You might also find a jewel
   that would never have thought to apply to a museum.

   PS. I think you're right, I would never just say: innerested in
   working in a museum you've never seen or been to? Send your resume...
