After reading the comments about SNAP!, I am wondering if any museums out
there have had positive results with canned collections management software
are designed for PC (not apple) platforms.

If the best that exists is a flat file database, I might as well design my
own with an appropriate field design. Anybody had a POSITIVE experience?
