Position Announcement

The Northfield Historical Society seeks a qualified executive director.  The
director is responsible for the comprehensive leadership and management of
the museum.  MA preferred in non-profit management, museum studies, history
or related field.  The successful candidate will demonstrate strong
leadership abilities; excellent communication skills; ability to direct and
motivate staff; fundraising, grant-writing and financial-planning
experience; and the ability to work with a board of directors and volunteer
committees.  Salary based on experience and qualifications.  Northfield, MN
is located approximately 40 miles south of the Twin Cities.  Send
