A donor has approached us with a women's fan collection of 22 objects.
The fans date from 1840s to 1920s.  The collection includes a fan in a
fabulous "Tiffany & Co." box,  and two fans personalized with writing
(one is sort of a "yearbook" signed by various high school friends).
Unfortunately, the fans do not fit our collection needs, so the donor is
looking for a museum that would like the objects.  If any museum is
interested in acquiring this collection, please contact me off-list.
