There was a great Murphy Brown episode where she has to interview some
critics about contemporary art, gets fed up with their code-talk and
plants a finger-painting by her toddler into a contemporary art
exhibition (with a made-up artist bio and statement) just to see if the
critics can tell the difference. (IIRC, they couldn't) While
professionally I feel this was a very sharp, truthful and possibly
uncalled-for dig that set appreciation of contemporary art back about
five years, personally I found it absolutely hilarious.
