Well I wont speak for any sort of security concerns.
I mean if you had it trained on the site all the time,
you could turn on your computer at 2 am and check it
out, but I haven't ever heard of one with night
vision.
However, one on the website (which you could just
install a monitor in the visitor center) would be
fantastic (speaking for a former Southwestern PA
resident who would like to see stuff from home). The
only major problem with the thing is that you would
need someone trained in the stuff to maintain it and
make sure your cam is water proof. Web cams aren't
really expensive or really hard to use, but you would
need a computer and line running out to the shelter.

So I guess my cavet is that you need someone well
versed in computer stuff to make sure nothing major
screws up. Its not the installation, its the
maintainence.

Great to hear from PA....someday I will go to meadow
croft. Sigh.
