Beau,

Bleached fabric of any kind that has intimate contact with art and
historic objects is not a good practice - especially with cotton
gloves that wick moisture and perspiration into thier fabic.

I'd suggest just setting the stained gloves aside for other uses.

If you go into the Museum-L archives you'll see a posting some yeqars
ago from me about research into cotton gloves (with those dots). A
conservator scientist with CCI tested those as well as some plain
cotton gloves. Basically, if you take a very clean pane of glass or
plexi and wipe the glove on it, and it leaves a visible mark or smear,
then don't use that glove on art or historic objects.

Cheers!
Dave
