Is there any hint whatsoever on the outside of the stones, or on any exposed
surface? Is it possible that some subtle marking or variation of detail or
texture would reveal which stone holds the capsule? If I were the stonecutter
I would try to leave some hint, else chance that the box would be forgotten
and never discovered.A careful examination of the exterior, perhaps at night
with a hand held lamp for raking light, sounds like fun anyway...
