Hello. I have a B.A. in Biology and I have been doing laboratory
research for the past two years, trying to decide if I wanted to pursue
a career in research.  After spending many lonely hours in the lab, I
decided to volunteer at a local 'hands-on' museum on the weekends.  It
wasn't long before I knew museum work was what I wanted a career in.
Currently, I am working as a program educator on the weekends.  Now I am
wondering whether a Masters in Entomology (or Zoology) would be the next
step to take or to pursue a Masters of Museum Studies.  I just found out
that a Museum Studies program existed. Or, is a degree in Museum Studies
even necessary?...Could you work your way up?  Does anyone have any
suggestions as to which route would make one more desirable for a career
as a curator or researcher in a natural science museum?
