RE: Team approach to exhibits

The Florida Museum of History developed and used (not sure if they still
do) a terrific handbook on exhibition development that was used to
facilitate the team process. Their handbook included who was responsible
for what at which times and seemed to reduce the confusion (and lack of
accountability) experienced in many "team" situations. It also reinforced
in writing the importance of all team members (thus, the educator wasn't
included at the final stages, but rather throughout the process). When I
visited there a few years ago, they were still working out some challenges,
but it was working. It seems to me that for larger institutions, these
materials would be extremely handy.
