I did a school tour evaluation for a natural history museum in Seattle, and
several teachers made the comment that they found the fossil exhibits and
other portions of the exhibit dealing with evolution to be inappropriate.
There was - in their estimations - not enough "scientific evidence" for
evolution to include the material in a museum.  Several also called for
equal representation in the form of a creationism exhibit.

While I can't see this particular museum - or most other natural history
museums - making changes based on this kind of commentary, it's a sobering
notion.  Particularly when you consider the extent to which some museums
base their interpretive goals for school tours on the district curriculum...
