Dear Museum-L,

I am currently conducting some research related to the use of computer games
in museum settings. I have been able to identify a number of articles that
describe the challenges of integrating games and game-like interactives into
exhibits and online presentation of our collections, but the literature is
somewhat thin and hasn't always taken the latest developments into
consideration.

This has left me with a number of unanswered questions about where we as a
community get our information about how and why people play games and why we
think it is a successful method for reaching out to our audiences.

I am interested in hearing from colleagues who have participated in computer
game/interactive development for their institutions, particularly if you
would be willing to share storyboards, white papers or other documentation
that outlines your development process.

Feel free to contact me off-list or at the MCN conference next week to
discuss further.
