If you have an older X-ray machine, you might consider some of the
minerals that floresce beautifully under the older Roentgen tubes.  If
you do it live, be very careful about shielding and don't get spurious
radiation running around.  There are illustrations in many texts on
Minerals (Gems or Geology).
