Required Qualifications
·       The ability to work on multiple projects successfully
·       A proven attention to detail and good organizational skills
·       Good written and oral communication skills
·       The ability to lift 35 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications
·       Bachelor of arts in history or a related degree
·       A proven knowledge of American history and/or business history
·       Experience using and handling archival material
·       Experience with word processing, database management software and other
standard computer applications

Scope of Work
·       Assist archival staff with basic arrangement, description and preservation
of corporate and organizational archives
·       Label, photocopy, re-folder and catalog archival material
·       Other duties as assigned

Environment: For twenty-one years, The History Factory has specialized in
the appraisal, processing and management of the historical archives of
leading U.S. businesses. Our approach to archiving and communications
enables our clients to document and leverage their heritage for future
generations. We offer many related services that help put corporate history
to profitable use. The Archival Services department is comprised of eight
archivists, who assess, process, catalog and provide reference service to
thirty archives (more than 12,000 linear feet of materials) maintained at

Salary: $10 per hour; non-negotiable. Some benefits offered.
