The Los Angeles Preservation Network (LAPNet) presents

    PICTURE PERFECT : the Care and Preservation of
    Historic and Black & White Photographic Material

Date:  Tuesday, 7 May 1996

Conference Description: An all-day conference regarding the care
  and preservation of historic and black & white photographic material.
  Topics to be discussed include: the identification of photographic
  material (including, but not limited to, daguerreotypes, tintypes,
  albumen prints, and prints made by silver processes); access and
  cataloguing these items in your collection; proper handling and
  storage; and safe methods of exhibiting photographic materials.

Target Audience: Librarians, archivists, and others who are faced with
  handling photographic material in their collections.
