I just wanted to drop a public note letting everyone know what a
pleasant experience I had last week at the Autry Museum of Western
Heritage in Los Angeles.

I strongly encourage a visit! My in-laws live in the LA area and we
visit twice a year and I try to make it to the Autry often as I can.
Their permanent galleries are innovative and never become tiresome,
and their temporary exhibits are wonderful. I especially liked the
Edward Bohlin silver saddle exhibit that's up now, and the Custer
exhibit was great, too. They are well-researched and well-written
exhibits.

I'm not even sure if there's anyone from the museum who follows this
list, but I wanted to get the word out. I recommend this place to
anyone who is or will be in the LA area and is interested in the
American west.

That's all. Thanks for letting me gush for a minute!
