Isn't there a pretty substantial toy museum in upstate New York--begins
with an S-- I want to say its in Rochester, but I'm completely blanking?

Nobody's mentioned Hi Ho Cherrios!--one of my childhood favorites that my
daughter's now playing with.
Also Dawn dolls (like Barbies only half size) in the early to mid seventies.
Raggedy Ann and Andy,
Betsy McCall,
American Girl Dolls, leggos,
remember the Domino revival in the 80s?,
Twister,
Howdy Doody (or does that fall under TV shows--now there's a whole nuther
genre--toys resulting from TV/movie/media promotion--my daughter has the
complete Burger King collection of Toy Story I and Babe and all the mini
Barbies McDonald's ever made)...
Then there's trains, and the Shining Time Station trains,
dollhouses (do a web search for the words doll or dollhouse and prepare to
be flabbergasted)
I wish I could leave the office now and go home to play....
