What an enormous question. There are limitless ways in which to offer
learning experiences. You might try narrowing your inquiry to
regions/cities you're interested in living. You might also ask specific
museums to mail you their program info. or try visiting them and
speaking with educators in person.

There's also a museum ed discussion list. Here's how to subscribe-

Subject: educational programs

Museum List Serve Members,
I would like to find a job working in an educational program in a
museum
after I graduate since my major is history education. I was wondering
what
types of educational programs that museums have today. What are some of
the
activities and knowledge that the children learn in these programs? Do
these
educational programs take place in the museums, the schools, or
somewhere
else? Are these educational programs geared towards students of all ages
or
just students of certain age groups?
Thank you for your time!

Brenda Schippers
