     I agree with Heleanor Feltham, who said the emancipation of women. I
think this includes birth control, which kind of developed alongside like
a chicken-and-egg scenario. The pill brought on the sexual revolution,
which increased multiple parter activity and thus the spread of AIDS
(another topic listed). Someone mentioned Princess Diana's death, though
I consider more her life - emancipation meant she did not have to stay in
her situation. (similar to Sarah Ferguson) The divorce rate is also
connected to emancipation - it's possible to divorce without ruining
one's life.
