Sarah,
   My advice to you is to send your resume to every
gallery you can find.  Look to Gallery and Museum
Directories. I have a MA in Art History and it is
quite frustrating looking for work.  But curently I am
working part-time in the cultural sector in my city's
gallery/historical museum.  I am also working on
exhibits (topics include Immigration to my region, and
African Canadian Workers History in Ontario).  I tend
to agree with Gerri.  You do have to network.  Tlak to
your profs, go to gallery exhibits and mingle.  Once
you get your foot in the door, people start referring
you to other people and mentioning job openings.  I
have also worked in the education sector at these
musuems (summer art programs for children, etc.)  My
Director has told me that the education sector in
Musuems is the best way to go.  I wish you luck.
