In reply to the message from Stacy Kozakavich on Dec. 22, 1996 in
     which she stated:

"I am specifically interested in learning the whereabouts of good
graduate level programs in museum studies at North American
     (especially Canadian) institutions."

Canada offers several graduate level museum studies programs. You can
check them out via the Heritage Forum on the Web site of the Canadian
Heritage Information Network (CHIN) at http://www.chin.gc.ca/Forum/
under "Museum Studies Programs" in the List of Topics. Additional
Information can be obtained from the Canadian Museums Association
which published "Museum Studies Programs in Canada/Programmes de
formation mus‚ologique au Canada (1993). The CMA can be reached at
613-567-0099 or by e-mail at [log in to unmask] (Please note that I
do not know if this booklet is still available, but if not, visit the
     career centre at your university.)

     Best wishes and good luck!
