Hi Liz,
Try doing a google search for "black light posters" or "black velvet
posters". You should find some that way - there are some fun websites
out there. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!

Sandra

Subject: Strange Question--1970s Halloween Decorations

Hello. This is a strange question, but with so many intelligent museum
professionals out there, I thought someone would know the answer. During
the mid to late 1970s, my family transformed the first floor of our home
into a "haunted house." We used to have these great halloween posters
that had this fuzzy/velvet material on them. They were fairly large and
had various monster figures depicted. I have searched high and low for
these types of posters and have had no luck. I am hoping to do a display
of the not-so-scary halloween images for our children's museum. If there
is another way of describing them, or if you know a source, please let
me know. Thank you so much!
