Hi Heather,

Cell phones (and iPods) can give visitors a sense of independence because
they don't have to check out museum audio guides or iPods. They can also
continue the experience and get more information after they leave the
Museum. On the museum's side, you don't have to deal with checking out
equipment or maintenance. The content production is also another issue to
consider: will you be producing the content in house or will you outsource
it? Have you considered doing a focus group about this issue with some of
your audience members?
