It has just been announced that 7 small museums in Dorset have been
awarded a Lottery grant of #69000 for a geology curator to curate
collections and prepare new displays. The museums are at Lyme Regis,
Bridport, Sherborne, Wareham, Corfe Castle, Langton Maltravers and
Swanage. The scheme will include the cataloguing of an estimated 1880
specimens of national importance using Catalist software.
