The California Center for Military History in cooperation with the
California State Military Museum (the US Army Museum Activity for
California)  is proud to announce the launching of a new internet based
discussion group dedicated to California Military History.  Hosted by
Google, this group is a moderated public forum.  Members of the public can
post messages (which will be screened for appropriateness) and view archived
messages.  However if you wish to automatically receive replies or other
posted messages from the system, you must sign up at
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/California-Military-History .  You can
also post messages on that page or simply e-mail
[log in to unmask]  Messages should be research
questions or answers.  All messages will be reviewed by the moderator.
Messages considered "spam",  or that are not appropriate for this forum will
not be posted.  I encourage everyone to sign up for this new program and
please pass this on to as may people you know who have an interest in
California Military History.   

 

Topics can be anything that deal with the military history of California.
Closed bases, California's Indian wars. famous Californians in the military,
museum announcements,  and artifact exchanges are just a few of the subjects
we hope to discuss in this forum
