One population which no one has mentioned yet is seniors residing in 
nursing homes, some of whom don't get out much, and may not be aware of 
anything going on beyond their own four walls.  The good nursing homes 
do their best to provide intellectually and culturally stimulating 
activities for their clients, but can only do so much.  People living in 
this environment very likely would welcome activities sponsored by 
someone from outside their own limited environment.
