The next meeting of the Museums Council of New York City will take place at
the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum at 1071 Fifth Avenue on September 29,
1997, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Rosemarie Garipoli, the Museum's Deputy Director for External Affairs will
welcome the members with refreshments on the main floor.  A member of the
curatorial staff will accompany us on a tour of the Robert Rauschenberg
retrospective exhibition, followed by a buffet supper.

The event costs $25.00. Please make a check payable to the Museums Council
of New York City.  Mail it to Amy Fischetti, Queens County Museum, 73-50
Little Neck Parkway, Floral Park, NY 11004.  You can call her with
