It’s all in the name – SOCIAL NETWORKING…

If an organization simply wants to be followed then they really only need a
website. Sites like Twitter and Facebook are for socializing, conversation,
networking, EXCHANGING of ideas, etc. It really doesn’t matter how you say
it, the basic premise is that there is a two-way flow of information. Give
and take, learn and educate.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] For those who have organization Twitter accounts

Do you follow others with your organization Twitter accounts, or do you just
have followers?

Got a staff person who wants to delete all those we are following, positing
that we want to be followed, not follow.

I thought Twitter was about interaction and conversation.

What's it like at your place?
