The MIT Museum has the following position available:

Director of Exhibitions & Public Programs

The MIT Museum is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Director of
Exhibitions and Public Programs to lead the development of the Museum as
an interface between MIT and the wider community. Responsible for the
conceptual, intellectual and artistic development of all exhibitions,
working with guest curators and outside contractors, and for overseeing
their installation, evaluation and ongoing fabric. Also responsible for
developing and overseeing the Museum's public programs, including K-12,
and developing audiences for programs. Supervise staff and volunteers.
Assist with fund-raising and publicity. We need someone with a bachelor's
and postgraduate degree in relevant field; at least five years experience
in museum exhibit management and production plus experience in managing an
educational service in a museum. Science background preferred. Must have
considerable degree of initiative and excellent interpersonal and
leadership skills. Ability to work effectively with MIT faculty, staff and
students essential. Competitive salary and outstanding benefits. Submit
