I posted this to the Registrar's list a while ago, but I don't think it
has been mentioned on this list.

Instead of the digest, you can set up a separate folder in your inbox to
catch all messages from Museum-L (which you can then read at your
leisure without dealing with them in your inbox).

OUTLOOK INSTRUCTIONS: In Outlook, go to the "File" menu, then "New" and
choose "Folder". In the new window, name your folder (for example,
"MUSEUM-L"). The "Folder Contains" field should say "Mail and Post
Items." Under "Select where to place the folder," highlight the Inbox.
Hit OK.

After you create the folder, you need to set up a rule. Go to the
"Tools" menu and select "Rules and Alerts". On the Email Rules tab,
press the New Rule button. At the top of the next window, select "Start
from a Blank Rule". Under "Step 1: Select when messages should be
checked," select "Check messages when they arrive" and hit Next button.
On the next screen, under "Step 1: Select Conditions" put a check next
to "sent to people or distribution list." Under "Step 2: Edit the Rule
Description," click on the underlined "people or distribution list" and
put [log in to unmask] in the "To:" box and hit OK. Hit the
Next button. On the next screen, under "Step 1: Select Actions," put a
check next to "move to the specified folder." Under "Step 2: Edit the
Rule Description," click on the underlined "specified." Find your new
folder in the pop-up window (you may have to click on the "+" next to
the Inbox) and press OK. Now you can press the Finish button. You
should see your new rule listed on the Email Rules tab. Press OK.

All of your messages from Museum-L should now be going into your new
folder. Most email programs have some sort of rule or filter option, so
you can do this even if you aren't using Outlook.
