I am continuing to look for information and artwork by Jes Schlaikjer.
Schlaikjer was a student of noted illustrator, Harvey Dunn.
He also studied in Europe. He did several war and Red Cross posters during
WWII. He was also a portrait artist-doing portraits of many military
officials including Eisenhower.
The Pentagon has several of his work. He did do some prairie scenes. The
Smithsonian has photos of prairie scene paintins by him, but they do not
know where the original paintings are. If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate
it.

Thanks.

John
