Just so everybody knows:

1)  The Supreme Court decided the "Finley" case (which was about the
"decency clause" at the National Endowment for the Arts) months ago;

2)  Congress is on the point of funding the NEA for the coming year at
pretty much exactly the same level as this year; and

3)  National Public Radio is going to get a very big increase -- it's
already been approved by both houses of Congress.  I think it's going
from $300 million to $340 million.

So let's keep this petition from becoming an urban legend, and stop
sending it around.
