A reminder that the deadline for session proposals for the Museum Computer
Network 2000 conference is April 30. Point your browser to
http://www.mcn.edu to download the session proposal form and for specifics
concerning the conference. You can complete the form and email it to me at
[log in to unmask] or send via snail mail to the address indicated on the
form.

Our theme "Change is the Name of the Game" is increasingly relevant. I just
read this morning that the book "Who Moved My Cheese?" (a self-help book
addressing how to handle personal change) is the top seller on at least
three major book lists. Change, in all circumstances, is a hot topic. Bear
in mind that your session can cover any topic of interest to the cultural
heritage community and is not required to relate to the conference theme.

Excitement is building for the conference. I've received a number of
interesting proposals and have heard informally from many of you that you
plan to submit session or workshop ideas. Don't wait until the last minute!

See you in Las Vegas in September.
