Could you please post the following message on Museum-L?

I am wondering how other museums handle slide programs that have been
part of exhibits -- e.g. for the Heart Exhibit -- a slide program that
talks about how the heart works. The slide programs do illustrate, in
part, information the exhibit was trying to convey -- however, they do
not document the exhibit itself in the way that documentary slides of the
exhibit (photos of the graphics, exhibit components, visitors interacting
with the exhibit) do. For exhibits that I have no other type of
documentary images, these slides might be valuable as SOME form of
documentation of the exhibit. However, I am not sure if I should save
them at all -- or if I should save them if I do not have some other
documentary slides. There are about 1000 slides all together of various
exhibit programs -- so I hesitate to accept them before I get some other
opinions. Any advice?
