This is in response to John Martinson's recent query regarding
development staff:
The Harn Museum of Art is a university art museum (University of
Florida) with an annual operating budget of approximately $2 million and
three full-time development staff members.  The Director of Development
supervises the department and handles major gifts;  we also have a
Membership/Special Events Coordinator and Grants Assistant.  The
Membership and Grants positions have only recently been expanded to
full-time; both were part-time for the past several years.
