The Texas Maritime Museum seeks a curuator to be responsible for
collections care and management plus exhibit research, development, and
design.  The Museum focuses on the maritime history and heritage of the
Texas Coast; therefore, maritime related experience is required.  Position
requires computer literacy, strong interpersonal skills, good communication
skills, self-motivation, and flexibiltiy.  B.A. in Museum Studies, history
or related field is required.  Master's degree in Museum Studies or a
related field is preferred.  Salary mid-20's plus medical benefits.  The
Texas Maritime Museum is located in Rockport, a small, resort commiunity on
the Texas Gulf Coast, north of Corpus Christi.
