We have a non-circulating library with books and other items, but over the
previous 40 years they have been alternately accessioned, using PastPerfect
and a two part accession number, inventoried and given a temporary ID number
and we have finally realised that they were originally catalogued using the
Dewey Decimal System.

We have just received a grant to clean up our archive and will add the
library materials into the Library catalogue of Pastperfect with the Dewey
numbers, to save us from any more overnumbering.
