you might be interested in checking out "Past Perfect".  Contact AASLH
(ph. 615-320-3203 or fax 615-327-9013).  I believe they have a demo disk
(up to 100 entries) so you can try it out.  check out museum-l archives
- a number of people have said good things about it.
