I'm partial to the Aughts, but I don't think anyone in this
post-William-Bennett civilization of ours will know what we're
talking about.

The only idea we could come up with here at our Museum was

"The Pre-Teens"

It doesn't really ring, but it's all we could figure.  I don't
like to use any phrase with "early", b/c the word is overused
in US West "Pioneer" contexts [what IS an "early-day logger"
anyway - somebody who fells trees before 6 AM?].
