We have been working with Robert Spoo, who is on the faculty of the School of Law at U of Tulsa for issues related to intellectual property rights (IPR). In fact, we have been collaborating on offering IPR webinars on various relateld subjects. The best advice is get advice from some one who knows the subject and isn't simply giving opinion.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Copyright issues for scanned photographs

Museum friends,

We are looking into rewriting our photographic collections use policies
to better address the somewhat thorny issue of copyright, specifically
with non-original and digital photographs. Can anyone recommend
resources that might touch on how best to deal with this, or would be
willing to share policies that address this topic?

Many thanks,
Anna
